You are a blessing everywhere you go

Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. Deuteronomy 28:10.

You know, this verse isn’t only a promise of something that will happen to you but actually it is something that is already a reality in your life. Notice the second part of the verse where it says, “and they shall be afraid of you”. This is also true for you.

This doesn’t mean that people will be scared of you but rather it means people will have great respect for you. Your superiors will favor you and even those that you compete with will hold you up in high regard. You see, they know that there is something special about you because good things happen when you are around.

I have experienced the favor of God many times in the business world. I have had doors open for me that never should have in the natural. But God is not held in check by the natural. Policies and rules can be changed because of that.

I worked at a place once where the HR manager after only being at this company for a few weeks came to me and told me he had been looking at my resume and saw due to my management experience that I should be making more money. He said he was going to submit it to the home office of this huge nationally known company. He said he couldn’t promise anything, and it could take several months to get a decision.

Well, he called me back to his office only two weeks later telling me that I had been approved for a 22% increase in pay. He said he never expected that much of an increase. It greatly affected my paycheck. Shortly after that, he left the company. I perceived strongly in my heart that this man was sent to this company for this short time just to bring favor to me and be a blessing to me financially.

You might be thinking, will God do something like that? I assure you that He will. It will amaze all of us what God can and will do for us when we live in total obedience to Him.

Friends, because you are also called by the name of the Lord, wherever you go, you are a blessing. His blessing is on you. The people around you will look at you and know that you are a blessing going somewhere to happen. Hallelujah.
