Don't fight for victory, you've already won

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11
 
So many Christians think they need to fight the devil. But only because they aren’t aware of Colossians 2:15 and Romans 8:37. Those verses tell us that Jesus has already won the battle against the devil for us and given us the victory. Our responsibility now is to enforce the victory by simply STANDING your ground. We are supposed to fight from victory not for victory again because Jesus has already won the victory for us.  

I want you to notice in Ephesians 6:10-18 that the passage on spiritual warfare mentions the word “WRESTLE” only ONCE, while the word “STANDS” appears FOUR times in verses 11, 13-14. Four times the Holy Spirit tells us to STAND. Yet, many Christians are focusing on wrestling their way to victory.  

Friends, you already have everything in Christ. You are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). The devil knows this and that is why his purpose is to deceive you into thinking you don’t have the victory. When he attacks by saying, “Look at the small amount in your checking account”. How are you going to pay your bills? You STAND your ground and declare that you are bountifully supplied because your IN CHRIST. As the need arises, so will the supply.  

The same with healing. When symptoms come or there’s pain in your body and you feel weak, the devil is trying to make you believe that you don’t have your healing. That is the time to be conscious of Jesus’ finished work and declare, “I am not trying to get healed, I AM HEALED! I am STANDING on the victory ground that Jesus has given to me.  

Friends, it truly does make all the difference in the world when you realize that you DO NOT need to fight for your victory. Your victory has already been won for you by your Lord Jesus. When you do have to fight, only fight the good fight of faith and you will be fighting FROM victory. You are a winner regardless of your circumstances.  Be assured today that you are a winner in all aspects of your life.
