God Gives You Preferential Treatment

Beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7

If you have flown very much in an airplane, you know there is first class seating and what is referred to as Coach or Economy class. If you’re in first class, then you get first class treatment. The stewardesses will ask regularly, “Is everything okay, sir or ma’am?” They will ask if you need this or that or something to read. They will give you a blanket if you’re cold. You get the best kind of food.

In other words, they give you preferential treatment compared to those traveling in the economy class. Most of us know that the grace of God is defined as “underserved, unearned and unmerited favor.” And one of the definitions of favor is “preferential treatment.” Today, God wants you to know that you have His favor on you. He wants you to know that He gives you preferential treatment which you do not deserve. And He wants you to depend on and take full advantage of it in your life.

God also wants you to know that His favor in your life can be increased. You can experience more of His favor from day to day. How? The Bible tells us in 2 Peter 1:2 that God’s grace or favor is multiplied to us “in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” The more you behold Jesus and His love for you, the more you believe and confess that God’s favor is on you, the more you will see His favor work for you.

So, if you are a businessman, you will find people just wanting to do business with you because they like and trust you and feel good about you. Whatever you do in life on the job, God can and will favor you and cause you to advance with promotions, receive pay increases and better jobs with better benefits. God truly favors you and greatly desires to multiply blessings in your life even on the job or in the business realm.

I am thoroughly convinced God’s favor is on Trinity Family Church despite the fact that the enemy has done everything he can do to keep us down and try to disable us from being the lighthouse this city, county and the surrounding counties are looking for. But, the enemy cannot stop the favor of God from shining bright on us. The time will come when we will be asked regularly, “What’s happening here?” And we’ll tell them, “It’s the favor of God multiplied all over us.” And it is all underserved, unearned and unmerited. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah.
